Tour with CEO Ynte de Vries
After a career of over 16 years at Friesland Campina, Ynte joined Koolen Industries in 2021, where he initiated Business Development, Marketing, and Communication, subsequently assuming the role of COO to further develop the organization. As of February 1, 2023, Ynte joined The Green Box team as CEO. With in-depth knowledge of the companies on our campus and as a graduate ecologist, he can extensively discuss the flora and fauna on our cleantech campus grounds. Additionally, as a passionate cleantech enthusiast, he can also provide insights into energy usage in his own home.

As an entrepreneur, Kees Koolen focuses on the transition to clean energy and founded The Green Box in 2020. Kees is also the CEO of Koolen Industries, located at The Green Box. Koolen Industries is a conglomerate of companies dedicated to clean industry transition, aiming to provide everyone with access to clean and affordable energy. One could say that Kees Koolen is the visionary behind numerous cleantech enterprises and initiatives.
